This year's edition of De Warmste Week is all about initiatives where we have to be there for each other, especially when the going gets tough. After an internal survey among our colleagues, we arrived at Baby Nest.

Baby Nest is a social organization based in Ghent that wants to offer help to (future) mothers and / or fathers, in order to give the children within vulnerable families every opportunity.

In concrete terms, they support vulnerable families who are referred by organizations from the preventive health care and welfare sector from all over East Flanders. Young mothers who are struggling can contact them for help.

We chose this initiative because it checked several boxes:

• All those that want to, can contribute and make a difference in the live of these mums and their babies.

• We can do it in a Covid19 safe way.

• And we can do it as Myreas.

We launched the question among all colleagues to look in their attic, cellar or any other place they can find things (important: in good condition) to give away. This is the result!
